SO excited for another season of AI. Did anyone watch on Tuesday when the men performed? specifically when the singer with the dreds (Jason?) sang Hallelujah? I really like that song and have heard several versions.
Simon made a comment about someone's version being his all time favorite....my little one was gabbing and i didn't catch who he said. did anyone get that?

I can't believe I have not seen this thread yet!!! We LOVE AI in our house. It is dance party night with the girls!

We took the girls to see the tour last summer and it was sooooooo fun! My kids are asking to go again this year and it happens to be the weekend before school starts down in Minneapolis, so it will be a fun end to the summer! Have fun to all who go!

I'm going to guess that the two Davids are in the finals.

That would be my guess as well. I voted for David Cook I liked all his songs a lot except for the one Simon picked that one was okay. I thought David A. struggled a little bit with the Chris Brown song but I liked the Billy Joel one that Paula picked for him and Seyisha did pretty good. I am sad though that AI is almost over! :-(

Well, I must say I wasn't surprised about Seyisha going home. I am glad she made it as far as she did though. I think the finale will really be a surprise. I have no idea who is going to win out of the two Davids. But I am going for David Cook!

Hey Amber and everyone,
Ditto to absolutely everything you said!!!
Let's jam up the phone lines with votes for DC tonight! :-)

NO! Jam up the phone lines for David Archuleta! He's a cutie patootie! :)

I'm torn!

I know, I was just telling my husband last night. I bet some people won't even vote and he was like why not? I said because they like both David's so well. But come on you have to choose one! ;-)

WOW! I can't believe the finale is tonight! I really hope that David Cook wins! But I am going to guess little David will win because Simon and Randy hyped him up so much. I was a little bit dissapointed in both of them. Especially Simon I thought he was way too hard on David Cook. David Cook rocked! But I guess we will see what happes tonight. I just think that David Cook is much more relaxed looking on stage. He seems more confident and does a variety. Little David always sings balads. He needs to change it up a bit. I think little David sings good but I knew many guys in high school that sang about the same.

Amber and all,
I am so PUMPED for tonight!
Sometimes I wonder if Simon is hard on someone and then "we" vote their way because we disagree fiercely and/or really like that contestant or we are torn between two and feel like not enough people will vote for that person. (Maybe that's just my wishful thinking!) I WILL say that David A. tried extra hard. You could clearly see that.
David C. does look completely relaxed and at ease on stage but is that to his demise??????? AAAAAAAARRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!
I'm sure my mouth will be hanging open all night long.
GO David Cook!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Anyone have any herbal calming remedies for me?!?!?!?) Hee-hee-hee.

I KNOW how you feel! I've been unable to "calm down" since last night's performance! I didn't sleep at all last night! I can not WAIT for them to say "And your 2008 American Idol is.....David Archuleta!" Yay! DialIdol predicts David Cook, and I can't accept that! No, seriously, he's really good as well! They are both amazing! I REALLY REALLY want Archuleta to win, and I'm having major anxiety FOR HIM waiting for the results tonight! That kid SUNG HIS HEART OUT! :)

YEAH!!!!! WOOOHOOO! :-D I am so excited that David Cook WON! Wow, what a night! My adrenaline was really pumping! I am sad though that this forum is going to kind of be over though. I always enjoyed talking about Idol every week! Well, I guess there is always next year right! ;-)

Yes, wouldn’t that be like heaven? You walk around the house and without saying a word, backpacks, toys and clothes are picked up…dishes are cleared off the table and towels are hung back on the towel rack. Dirty clothes actually go into the dirty clothes basket and you no longer walk into the kitchen to [...]

The Power of Unexpected Kindness

The idea of Door Knob Drops came from my sister, Teri, who lives with her two boys in Moraga, California. One year there were several kids on their street that were graduating from some school or another; sixth grade, eighth grade or twelfth grade. Teri and her boys put together some very simple treats with [...]

What Would You Do?

Last night my boys, Dylan and Travis, were helping me cut out Bingo Boards and put together Bingo Button sacks. It was really late and I was trying to get everything photographed for this first Five in One Family Fun email. Normally they go to bed by 9:15 but it was 9:30 and I hadn’t [...]
