Just wondering...where do you think is the best place for selling crafts online?

I am opening up an Etsy shop right this moment but wonder if I should close my Ebay site.
I've gotten a LOT of great marketing advice thanks to The Buzz's online selling guide (www.thebuzz.etsy.com) would also like to hear everyone's advice for marketing online!

I think Etsy is very popular right now! Have you thought about Myspace too? I do a business on Myspace and there a lot of boutiques on there and it is free. :-)

Etsy without question! It is free to have an account and you pay very little transaction fees AFTER you sell your item. I LOVE LOVE LOVE It. It's getting more and more well known. It is a market for only handmade crafts and buyers who expect to pay those kind of prices.

I would definitely go with etsy. As a consumer, I see the etsy products as more genuine and I'm usually willing to pay a little bit more because I know it's not some mass-produced made in another country thing. Just my opinion, though. Good luck - I'll look for your work on etsy!!

Dirty clothes actually go into the dirty clothes basket and you no longer walk into the kitchen to [...]

The Power of Unexpected Kindness

One year there were several kids on their street that were graduating from some school or another; sixth grade, eighth grade or twelfth grade. Teri and her boys put together some very simple treats with [...]

What Would You Do?

Last night my boys, Dylan and Travis, were helping me cut out Bingo Boards and put together Bingo Button sacks. It was really late and I was trying to get everything photographed for this first Five in One Family Fun email. Normally they go to bed by 9:15 but it was 9:30 and I hadn’t [...]
