Hi ladies! I am a very new consultant, just beginning and am excited to see what OUAF can do in my community and what God can do in and thru me with this company.
I am excited to join your group, let me tell you OUAF is a praise for my life. Both my children and now in school and I have prayed for the perfect job that I could bring praise and honor to Him.
His name may not be on the company or on the products but it has been breathed upon it. Do you not agree?

I'm here. Loving Kindness is this months value, but it is even more interesting to read what the Bible says love really is, not a feeling but actions. Wow! We used the conversation starters and ansered some of the Love questions. Then we went around and said what we love about each other a couple of nights ago. BTW- I'm on FB and along with this spot we should make our own group there as well. A OUAF Christian Celebrations group and I'm thinking that would bring more people into the Happyhome club on line! There has to be other women who would love what goes on with OUAF.

This month is a great month to talk about the "Good Samaritan" and good deeds. This year I put our new Traditions Tree up as a centerpiece and we are hanging up a heart for every good deed my girls can come up with. Last year we used a jar....but I think its much more visual with the tree:)

I am still out here. I have been horrible about working on family traditions and all that fun stuff. Any easy ideas out there?

Hello Ladies,

This year I have spear headed a series of recorded calls called Cord of Three Strands (COTS). Each one available to listen to for a full three months. I'm happy that many of you look forward to these calls now. The calls are designed to encourage those who view OUAF as a ministry. Partnering with other consultants in the field, we hope to give you voices of encouragement so that you may run strong, not grow weary and have a successful business. If you find yourself in this category then these pre-recorded calls are for you to listen to at your own convenience.

Tara Link and I just recorded a call this morning all about the
positive impact OUAF has had in our lives and how it has grown us in so many ways. You will love it.

Cord of Three Strands – God, OUAF and You!!!! Here's to working for a company that provides tools we can be proud of and feel good about promoting to others! We can't do this alone. A cord of three strands is not easily broken!

I wanted to invite you girls to a "virtual" Bible study I'm doing with some other moms. We are going to read the book titled, "The Bathtub is Overflowing but I Feel Drained" by Lysa TerKeurst and discuss it online through a yahoo group. Since some are already involved in Bible studies and just busy being a mom, we are only doing one chapter a week- they are short. Then we'll post comments and respond to each other about the chapter. The book is the most honest and encouraging mom book I've read. Some example of the chapter titles are "Why are these people calling me mom?" and "Did I just say that?" :) We would love for moms from all over to join us- that would make it more fun- to meet other moms. Here's the link to the group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/busymomsconnect/
If you have trouble joining, just let me know and I'll "invite" you through the site!

Christians

by Maya Angelou

“A woman’s heart should be so hidden in Christ
that a man should have to seek Him first to find her.”
When I say, “I am a Christian” I’m not shouting “I’m clean livin’.”
I’m whispering “I was lost. Now I’m found and forgiven.”
When I say, “I am a Christian” I don’t speak of this with pride.
I’m confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.
When I say, “I am a Christian” I’m not trying to be strong.
I’m professing that I’m weak and need His strength to carry on.
When I say, “I am a Christian” I’m not bragging of success.
I’m admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.
When I say, “I am Christian” I’m not claiming to be perfect.
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.
When I say, “I am a Christian” I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.
When I say, “I am a Christian” I’m not holier than thou.
I’m just a simple sinner who received God’s good grace, somehow!

No Nag Nirvana

Yes, wouldn’t that be like heaven? You walk around the house and without saying a word, backpacks, toys and clothes are picked up…dishes are cleared off the table and towels are hung back on the towel rack. Dirty clothes actually go into the dirty clothes basket and you no longer walk into the kitchen to [...]

The Power of Unexpected Kindness

The idea of Door Knob Drops came from my sister, Teri, who lives with her two boys in Moraga, California. One year there were several kids on their street that were graduating from some school or another; sixth grade, eighth grade or twelfth grade. Teri and her boys put together some very simple treats with [...]

What Would You Do?

Last night my boys, Dylan and Travis, were helping me cut out Bingo Boards and put together Bingo Button sacks. It was really late and I was trying to get everything photographed for this first Five in One Family Fun email. Normally they go to bed by 9:15 but it was 9:30 and I hadn’t [...]
