Hi Becky,

Yes ~ it was nice to be married to you at reunion. It was interesting that you were flip-flops and I was slippers. I think our personalities would be very relaxed together. I hope I here from you soon. BJ

Hi Becky. I always love to see your sunshine smile. What beautiful children you have. I remember putting on plays when we were young, but kids today have so much to entertain, it just doesn't happen. We did a spoof on "Twas the Night Before Christmas" one year and recorded funny sound effects to go along with the play. You would hear rocks tumbling when we read the part about "settling our heads for a long winter's nap," We had a great time. I look forward to seeing you at the Reunion. It will be fun to see how the site grows, now that it is open to friends and customers. A big hug, Lorle

Hi Becky,

It's so great to see you and your family here! But, as a Hawkeye fan, I just have to let you know that WE HAVE THE FLOYD of ROSEDALE!!!! Do you know about ole' Floyd?!?!

You are such a great role model for all the wonderful ways that you can bring joy and closeness to your family. I am so glad to know you!

How's the clebration format going? I'm always adjusting and now I like to walk the guests through the season brochure with some of the fun elements weaved in.

I thought so! It's so fun that we have this Happy Home Club. I love it! And seeing pictures of your family is the best! We just had a Curious George party today... 30 kids and parents and I am tired. BUT I am so excited to update my birthday book! That is what this is all about... making the moments last forever. At dinner my daughter said, "This was the best birthday ever!" That was the perfect thing for me to hear.

A little bit about me:
Hi! My name is Becky and I'm a happily married mother of two. I love hanging out with my family and friends, drinking coffee, reading, checking e-mail :) I love kids so I'm a part time Nanny and work in Early Childhood development.
Family members – names/ages/interests:
My husband of 14 years Justin loves art, music and motorcycles
Madison 12 is beautiful BUSY girl!!!
Zach 8 loves baseball, swimming, wrestling
We all love watching our Minnesota WILD Hockey!!!
My favorite childhood memory:
As grandchildren, we would put on our own Christmas program for our Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles. We all had to have a talent and we would practice for months ahead of time. I still remember singing certain songs and playing my flute. After the program, Grandpa Henry would read the Christmas story from the Bible.
My favorite family tradition:
Thanksgiving. Going around the table and saying what we are thankful for and keeping those handwritten blessings on our "leaves of thanks".
My favorite family moment:
Having Dinners together and REALLY talking!

No Nag Nirvana

Yes, wouldn’t that be like heaven? You walk around the house and without saying a word, backpacks, toys and clothes are picked up…dishes are cleared off the table and towels are hung back on the towel rack. Dirty clothes actually go into the dirty clothes basket and you no longer walk into the kitchen to [...]

The Power of Unexpected Kindness

The idea of Door Knob Drops came from my sister, Teri, who lives with her two boys in Moraga, California. One year there were several kids on their street that were graduating from some school or another; sixth grade, eighth grade or twelfth grade. Teri and her boys put together some very simple treats with [...]

What Would You Do?

Last night my boys, Dylan and Travis, were helping me cut out Bingo Boards and put together Bingo Button sacks. It was really late and I was trying to get everything photographed for this first Five in One Family Fun email. Normally they go to bed by 9:15 but it was 9:30 and I hadn’t [...]
