A little bit about me:
I'm a Homeschool Dad and a Work from Home Dad. I have four beautiful children and wife.
Family members – names/ages/interests:
Tylor, 17 - web developer extraordinaire.
Gabriella, 13 - my creative one (dance, piano, writing)
Cole, 10 - the athlete, hip-hop dancer, and protector.
Eden, 8 - the comedian, yard boss, actress, and artist.
Genevieve - world's most gifted public speaker.
My favorite childhood memory:
Animal pancakes! My father would mix up a batch of pancake mix (his mother's recipe), and we would make requests for him to pour the batter onto the pan in the shape of the animal we picked. They didn't always come out looking exactly like that animal, but it was a favorite Saturday morning tradition never the less. Forty years later, my children are now making pancakes with that very same recipe!
My favorite family tradition:
When it's someone's birthday, everyone else will get up early and decorate the dining room and a special birthday chair. The older kids will pick out a theme and create birthday games to be played in the morning before school. Finally, they get the Celebration Plate and Goblet (festively painted) for the day.
My favorite family moment:
When all six of us rode the Men in Black "Alien Attack" roller coaster at Universal Studios.

Hi Brian,

I just wanted to remind you that the new challenge has started. There is $150 in gifts of your choice from Once Upon A Family once you complete. I know everyone is busy crazy, but who can pass up that type of an incentive. I am here to encourage you to join in this time. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

No Nag Nirvana

Yes, wouldn’t that be like heaven? You walk around the house and without saying a word, backpacks, toys and clothes are picked up…dishes are cleared off the table and towels are hung back on the towel rack. Dirty clothes actually go into the dirty clothes basket and you no longer walk into the kitchen to [...]

The Power of Unexpected Kindness

The idea of Door Knob Drops came from my sister, Teri, who lives with her two boys in Moraga, California. One year there were several kids on their street that were graduating from some school or another; sixth grade, eighth grade or twelfth grade. Teri and her boys put together some very simple treats with [...]

What Would You Do?

Last night my boys, Dylan and Travis, were helping me cut out Bingo Boards and put together Bingo Button sacks. It was really late and I was trying to get everything photographed for this first Five in One Family Fun email. Normally they go to bed by 9:15 but it was 9:30 and I hadn’t [...]
