Hi Heather. Thanks for the message. Our family definitely does it's best to separate fishing opener and Mother's Day. Unfortunately this year the weather did not help. Until next time. Great to know there are other MN mommies out there. :-) I hope you enjoyed your Mother's Day in Nisswa.

I am in the middle of responding to your email and thought I would check to see if you were on the HHC. And to my amazement your Graduation Story took first place. Nice story. So I had to look for your home page and my goodness what a beautiful family you have. You must be bursting with pride. Your little girls are just gorgeous. AND I just read your favorite family moment and it brought tears to my eyes. In my family we call our feelings "feelers" and you touched mine, there sensitive. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and enjoyed looking at your family pictures and reading your profile. Gotta go finish your email. Happy Mothers Day!

Hi Heather. I just saw you on Minnesota mommies and thought I'd click. I see wee have a couple things in common. I'm in Northern MN too...and I also have twins. Mine are 2 1/2. Where around here are you? Maybe we should get together sometime...

I didn't take a photo of all of us can you send it to me at devineclark@yahoo.com? I'm making a scrapbook of my OUAF memories. It was great to talk with you in Chicago. Are you going to Reunion? I hope to see you there. Enjoy browsing this AWESOME site. Is'nt fun to put the names with the faces? YEAH!!!!

Profile Information

A little bit about me:
I am a stay at home mommy (aka, kiddie chauffeur!) . I live in chilly northern Minnesota with my hubby and our 3 beautiful girlies! I love travel, dance, music, girls nights, cooking, reading (when I have the chance!) and being a Once Upon a Family consultant.
Family members – names/ages/interests:
husband, Brian-Loves to fish, hunt, ride his snowmobile, play XBOX 360 and golf. He is in the Army, which has taken us all over the world.

Kaitlyn and Emma, almost 6 and in kidergarten- both love dance lessons, swimming, school, friends, drawing and coloring and are getting ready to start soccer for the first time.

Aubrey, just turned 4- loves preschool, dance lessons, swim lessons and anything that her sisters are doing!
My favorite childhood memory:
Spending time with my grandparents. I spent many summers and weekends with them while growing up. They are so amazing and taught me so much about life and love. They were married for nearly seventy years before my grandfather passed away. We are blessed to still have my grandmother in our lives!
My favorite family tradition:
Our vacation at the lakes with extended family every summer. My husband and I were engaged while on that vacation 10 years ago! We now live only a few minutes from the resort where we vacation, so it is a little like being on vacation year round!
My favorite family moment:
We recently attended an after hours party at Disney World. Towards the end of the night, we were walking on the bridge past Cinderella's castle (alone, how often does that happen at Disney?!) just the five of us. The girls were dressed as their favorite princesses and they were dancing to the music that was playing. It was one of those magical moments to hold on to forever because you know that it will never happen again!

No Nag Nirvana

Yes, wouldn’t that be like heaven? You walk around the house and without saying a word, backpacks, toys and clothes are picked up…dishes are cleared off the table and towels are hung back on the towel rack. Dirty clothes actually go into the dirty clothes basket and you no longer walk into the kitchen to [...]

The Power of Unexpected Kindness

The idea of Door Knob Drops came from my sister, Teri, who lives with her two boys in Moraga, California. One year there were several kids on their street that were graduating from some school or another; sixth grade, eighth grade or twelfth grade. Teri and her boys put together some very simple treats with [...]

What Would You Do?

Last night my boys, Dylan and Travis, were helping me cut out Bingo Boards and put together Bingo Button sacks. It was really late and I was trying to get everything photographed for this first Five in One Family Fun email. Normally they go to bed by 9:15 but it was 9:30 and I hadn’t [...]
