- A little bit about me:
- I am the proud mother of three wonderful children, Hunter & Alexa (6 year old twins)...and my "baby," Colton (3). My husband, Troy, and I have been married for 14 years and relish raising our children on our country acreage (Grandpa's old farm land)....surrounded by oodles of family members for miles around! I am also an Independent Consultant and Team Leader for Once Upon A Family and serve on the company's leadership council. Being part of Once Upon A Family has been a sincere blessing and has made my dream of passing on a rich, value-filled family legacy to my children a reality I'm living each and every day!
- Family members – names/ages/interests:
- Troy (Dad) -- Loves Purdue (our Alma Mater)...and reading devotionals to our children every night while they snuggle in bed!
Holly (Mommy) -- Loves teaching...both my own kids and other little ones!
Hunter (Twin #1) -- Loves sports...as long as his best friend, Ty, is on his team!
Alexa (Twin #2...by 2 minutes!) -- Loves ALL animals...especially puppies!
Colton (The Little Guy) -- LOVES John Deere!!! He's a tractor freak!
- My favorite childhood memory:
- I used to LOVE to have our entire family sit on the couch together. It didn't happen much...but I felt like all was right with the world when we were together! :)
- My favorite family tradition:
- Troy/Dad's Favorite Family Tradition: Family Dance Night! (Every Wednesday night we crank up the home stereo system and dance like crazy...mostly to the Purdue Band playing the fight song! Hee!)
Holly/Mom's Favorite Tradition: "Elf on the Shelf" -- What would the holidays be like without our resident Santa-Spy, Buddy?!!
Hunter's Favorite Tradition: Pizza and Game Night every Friday!
Alexa's Favorite Tradition: Family Dance Night! Daddy throws me up in the air like a Purdue cheerleader!
Colton's Favorite Tradition: "The Valentine's Hotel!" --Every year we take the kids and sneak away the night before Valentine's Day (even if it's a school night! Shhh!) and stay in a nice hotel. We swim, snack, pile into the big comfy bed and wait for the Valentine Cupid to come during the night! :)
- My favorite family moment:
- When one of our children ask to have a FAMILY HUG. (Everyone drops whatever they are doing and joins together for a 30 second group hug!)
