Thanks Jen, I love your opening sentence about yourself. You look like you are ready to go out on a super duper date! Gorgeous! We are doing good, thank you for asking! Kids will not let things get in the way of being who God created them to be and my son Frederick is no exception. My praise is that God's presence is in abundance around here! Here's to more Family Fun ideas picked out, played out and recorded for a lifetime!

that's great! I was actually going to email you today to make sure you received it. It is nice to be able to put a face with those you're in contact with:)

Profile Information

A little bit about me:
First and foremost, I am a Christian, a wife and mommy. I have two adorable little people who wear me out most days. BC I was a 1st grade teacher at a local public school where I taught 1st grade. I have been a consultant with Once Upon A Family since Oct. of 2006 and have seen my life change for the better since I have become involved with this company. I love spending time with my family and friends. In my free time (ha ha) I like to make jewelry.
Family members – names/ages/interests:
John - sports of any kind
Allison - 5- pokemon (ugh) and animals
Adam - almost 2 - Sesame Street, cars and trucks
My favorite childhood memory:
Going to Keansburg, New Jersey with my grandparents. We ALWAYS went there when we visited them. We played arcade games and bingo with my grandmother. We saved up those wonderful arcade tickets that you win and got so many junky toys (which seemed like treasure at the time).
My favorite family tradition:
Second Sunday Sundaes - We make sundaes together on the 2nd Sunday of each month. I put out lots of different toppings and everyone gets to put on whatever they want. No matter where we are we always have sundaes on that day, even if we have to go to an ice cream shop to get them.
My favorite family moment:
Anything we do all together.

No Nag Nirvana

Yes, wouldn’t that be like heaven? You walk around the house and without saying a word, backpacks, toys and clothes are picked up…dishes are cleared off the table and towels are hung back on the towel rack. Dirty clothes actually go into the dirty clothes basket and you no longer walk into the kitchen to [...]

The Power of Unexpected Kindness

The idea of Door Knob Drops came from my sister, Teri, who lives with her two boys in Moraga, California. One year there were several kids on their street that were graduating from some school or another; sixth grade, eighth grade or twelfth grade. Teri and her boys put together some very simple treats with [...]

What Would You Do?

Last night my boys, Dylan and Travis, were helping me cut out Bingo Boards and put together Bingo Button sacks. It was really late and I was trying to get everything photographed for this first Five in One Family Fun email. Normally they go to bed by 9:15 but it was 9:30 and I hadn’t [...]
