Well, my husband is the one I showered with random acts of love this past week or more. It was great timing anyway, as our 4 year anniversary was last Thursday! His favorite ended up being a surprise love message I left on his bathroom mirror usin…

When I saw this Challenge, I felt good about all of the conversations in the past I took time to have with my grandparents because all of them have died. The person closest for me to interview is my mom - and I just happened to have bought a book e…

Here is a quick video of Dad and Ricky stopping to smell the flowers, literally! I also added this video to my page. It is hard to hear, but it's so cute how Ricky sniffs really hard when he smells flowers!

Our Family Fun Night is on Thursdays every week. My husband and I chose activities that we like and that we knew our 14 month old would enjoy as well. Every Thursday we choose from: going to the library to read and check out books, going to a loc…

Did you ever get a response on when/how we receive the hero kit? :) And do you know who won the $1000 drawing? I just saw it today.

Hi, Kelly,

You asked if you were disqualified for submitting more than 150 words. You won't be disqualified. We're simply trying to keep the responses manageable for the person who has to read and evaluate them all. Good to see you participating! Regards, Lynn

I haven't used this site much either, so I'm still figuring it all out. Have you had time to starting reading the book yet? It's good isn't it? I thought it was so informative. Unfortunately I've forgotten which "type" I am. What are the four personality types? I think I might remember if I saw them all again.

Hi Kelly,
It's me, Trish, from customer service. I enjoyed reading your profile and hope to see a picture of you, Harold and Ricky up here soon. What do you think of our new Happy Home Club site. I have truly enjoyed it. Talk to you soon. ;-)

A little bit about me:
I am a 2nd grade teacher and I had my first baby - a boy - on March 13th, 2008. I am so excited to get and use all of the Once Upon a Family products with my new little family and to share them with my family and friends! I have been married for three years to a wonderful man who is a chef. I am excited to meet and know everyone!

Harold/ 24/ cooking, hiking, camping, reading, biking
Ricky/ 1 year / playing with his walker, playing with mommy and daddy, visiting family
Me/ 33/ dancing, scrapbooking, biking, movies, reading
My favorite childhood memory:
One of my favorite memories is coloring Easter eggs with my family. It was always so much fun and it was something all of us could get creative with.
My favorite family tradition:
Saying what we are grateful for in our lives on Thanksgiving - it makes that holiday more than just eating until I am stuffed.
My favorite family moment:
When we were all together right after Ricky was born.

No Nag Nirvana

Yes, wouldn’t that be like heaven? You walk around the house and without saying a word, backpacks, toys and clothes are picked up…dishes are cleared off the table and towels are hung back on the towel rack. Dirty clothes actually go into the dirty clothes basket and you no longer walk into the kitchen to [...]

The Power of Unexpected Kindness

The idea of Door Knob Drops came from my sister, Teri, who lives with her two boys in Moraga, California. One year there were several kids on their street that were graduating from some school or another; sixth grade, eighth grade or twelfth grade. Teri and her boys put together some very simple treats with [...]

What Would You Do?

Last night my boys, Dylan and Travis, were helping me cut out Bingo Boards and put together Bingo Button sacks. It was really late and I was trying to get everything photographed for this first Five in One Family Fun email. Normally they go to bed by 9:15 but it was 9:30 and I hadn’t [...]
