Profile Information
- A little bit about me:
- I live in Virginia with my husband, two boys, and dog.
- Family members – names/ages/interests:
- Chris, my husband- likes to do things that interest the boys. Which means Military Channel, building fighter jets, watching Disney movies, pretending you are the Disney movie, and a lot of other interesting ideas that come from the minds of 6 and 3 years olds. Our house is never dull.
Ethan, my oldest, lives, breathes, dreams... fighter jets. He wants to be a fighter jet pilot so he is always practicing. He has a computer joystick that he uses with a kitchen chair (that's he cockpit) and looks for 'bogies' all the while talking in 'fighter jet' lingo.
Josh loves Disney movies. Buzz Lightyear is a favorite, but so is High School Musical (he loves to sing and dance along). He always loves the little known characters, Mr. Ray from Finding Nemo, Sheriff and Frank from Cars, Lucifer the cat from Cinderella, the list goes on and on.
Max, my dog, loves attention and snacks. The only attention he's doesn't love, is when Ethan has sighted a 'bogie' and it's him (Max). It means being chased and sometimes it means being shot with a water gun.
- My favorite childhood memory:
- My parents, for many years, had a time share in Gatlinburg, TN and every summer we went to the time share. We always had a great time, even though we always went to the same places. Now that my siblings and I have families we try to meet in Gatlinburg with my parents every few years. We take our kids and spouses to the same places we went as kids:)
- My favorite family tradition:
- My mom started the 12 days of Christmas when I was in middle school, she would even send me a box when I was in college. Now she does the 12 days for the grandchildren. I love that she's continued this tradition, the kids love it too.
- My favorite family moment:
- Father's Day 2005, we were all together laughing. A month later my brother pasted away unexpectedly. Thankfully we had that time together and pictures of all of us together.
