Lisa Burns said… - I am sorry for the loss of your sweet grandpa. It made my day to know that my sharing that Father's Day album idea at the OUAF convention a few years ago ended up with you doing it also, and that your grandpa had the same joy in reading it as my husband's grandpa who I did the album for. Our grandpa got better for awhile but is gravely ill in the hospital right now. Just today, I had my kids make cards for him that my husband took with him to the hospital. It made me think about the album I did for him for Father's Day a few years ago, and I too felt peace knowing that we all shared our priceless memories with him while he could really enjoy it. It is such a "coincidence" that you sent me this email today as I was really thinking about that album a lot today. I hope you and your family are doing well despite your loss. I'm so glad that having the memory of sharing that album with your grandpa brings you more peace in this difficult time. I really appreciate you sharing this with me!

- I'm a mother of two, my son is 4 and my daughter is 2. Married for 9 years. I started OUAF when my son was 5 weeks old and it's the best thing I could have done for my family as well as myself.

- Cutting down the Christmas tree every year in the Santa Cruz mountains. I was a Jr. in college when my parents went wtihout me (I was 3.5 hours away) and I cried because I couldn't believe they didn't wait for me to come home. It was the first time in 21 years that I wasn't there!

- Saturday pancakes (probably because my husband is the one who cooks them!)
