Profile Information

A little bit about me:

I am an eager wife, mother, and teacher. I want to be the best at it all, but realize that's quite a task! I work with special education students and absolutely love my job - thank goodness - because I really miss being home with my girls each day that I'm at work.

Family members – names/ages/interests:

Brian is my husband and is feeling very tense about his upcoming birthday - I won't mention which age he'll be turning.
Austin and Brandon are my stepsons - ages 14 and 9
Austin enjoys all sports but his favorite is basketball. Brandon is a free spirit and enjoys the outdoors.
Kate is my first baby and she just turned 3. She loves to pretend, snuggle with her mama, and read books!
Jenna is 7 months old and is learning to crawl. She also loves a good book and she chews on everything!

My favorite childhood memory:

That's quite a task . . . there are so many memories. One that pops to mind is our every-other year outing to the circus with my cousins. Every year we'd ask, "Is this the year we get to go to the circus?!?"

My favorite family tradition:

On each of our birthdays we go around the table to share something we really appreciate/love/adore about the birthday boy/girl. Although the 9 year old struggles a bit with this right now, the 14 year old comes up with some impressive comments.

My favorite family moment:

The time after the birth of both girls tops the charts . . . but there are many!
