- A little bit about me:
- I am 26 years old. I am a Once Upon a Family consultant from Michigan. I am happily married to the man of my dreams. I have a wonderful two year old daughter who is keeping me on my toes, and I am expecting my second child in just a couple of weeks. In addition to being a counsultant with OUAF, I am also a massage therapist. I enjoy spending time with my family, taking long hot baths or long walks, and reading.
- Family members – names/ages/interests:
- Husband- Bryn is 25 and enjoys extreme sports (riding motorcycles, snowboarding, anything for a thrill!)
Daughter- Brynnen is 2 and enjoys snuggling up with mommy to read, playing with daddy in the snow and basically just running around being a toddler
- My favorite childhood memory:
- My favorite childhood memory involves playing with my cousins outside. Every time that my cousins would come to visit we would rush outside. We made mudpies together, we played house in an old ice-fishing shanty that belonged to my grandpa, my grandma used to pay us a penny for every nail we picked up out of her driveway. Every day that we spent together was an adventure and our parents always had a hard time getting us to come inside even to eat lunch.
- My favorite family tradition:
- My favorite family tradition is gathering together at my grandma's home with all of the family to celebrate Christmas. Everyone brings a dish or two to pass and we share a big meal together. Santa always visits my grandma's on Christmas Eve night, he brings a small gift for everyone - even for the family dog, and then we sing a round of "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. And then the rest of the evening is spent exchanging gifts, playing games and relaxing together.
- My favorite family moment:
- I truly love waking up in the morning with my family. Usually my daughter has crawled into bed with us by daylight and we are all snuggled up together. We usually tickle daddy awake and we have a special good morning song we sing. It is a great way to start the day.
