- A little bit about me:
- Currently finishing up my Master's Degree in Children and Family Ministry at Bethel Seminary, and am on staff at my church as the Elementary Director. Born and raised in Chicago area, but am loving my HOME of Minnesota. I just got started in Once Upon a Family, because not only do I LOVE the products, but also because it totally lines up with my philosophy of ministry to families -- bring them together and learn and share God's Word Together, share those stories and pass on a legacy to future generations.
- Family members – names/ages/interests:
- Married 17 years to my hubby, Bill. Have a 16 (Bre), 15 (Tom) and 14 (Mike) year old. Bill is a runner and is currently training to run two marathons this year. Bre loves art and loves God, she wants to be a missionary and live in Mexico. Tom is the silliest boy I've ever met, but he's incredibly bright and loved by everyone. Mike is a great soccer player and would love to be a professional soccer player in Brazil some day.
- My favorite childhood memory:
- Family gatherings at my grandparents house. The smell of roasts cooking and cinnamon rolls raising. Eating meals with my cousins in the "breezeway", learning to play poker with my aunts and uncles.
- My favorite family tradition:
- Going camping with my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins every year for one weekend and having a big birthday party. We called it Birthday Weekend, complete with a cake, presents and games, and spending the entire weekend playing with my cousins. (After taking many years off, we are planning one this year!!)
- My favorite family moment:
- Exchanging love letters with my hubby and kids each Christmas.
