Actually I think I might be quite good if I could actually get on the computer long enough without disaster hitting the house from my little ones. My little one, only 13 months has a devil grin. You know the one where she knows she is not suppose to be doing something but runs off to do it anyways. O boy, this next year will be full of stories. I probably should get a leather journal and start noting some of those things now.
I really can't believe how busy I have been the last 6 months. It's amazing to think I had 3 little ones all two years apart, I don't know how I got through those years! Last week we got to enjoy Disneyland (along with everyone else who was off for Easter...note to self never do that week again) with my brother and his family and my mom and dad. My brother got a strange look on his face and said to me, " You really are crazy, you were done with diapers and you decided to become a slave again to a toddler." He HE that totally made me laugh because he now has two very young girls driving him crazy. But yap, I guess I am crazy...but at the same time I was at the store getting fabric to help my mom make some curtains (she does the sewing I helped pick out fabric) and I saw a new baby and almost starting crying. WOW I was so surprised from these emotions. You would think with four kids and 3 others I watch for daycare that I would have felt filled in my life...but still there was sadness or craziness as my brother put it.

No Nag Nirvana

Yes, wouldn’t that be like heaven? You walk around the house and without saying a word, backpacks, toys and clothes are picked up…dishes are cleared off the table and towels are hung back on the towel rack. Dirty clothes actually go into the dirty clothes basket and you no longer walk into the kitchen to [...]

The Power of Unexpected Kindness

The idea of Door Knob Drops came from my sister, Teri, who lives with her two boys in Moraga, California. One year there were several kids on their street that were graduating from some school or another; sixth grade, eighth grade or twelfth grade. Teri and her boys put together some very simple treats with [...]

What Would You Do?

Last night my boys, Dylan and Travis, were helping me cut out Bingo Boards and put together Bingo Button sacks. It was really late and I was trying to get everything photographed for this first Five in One Family Fun email. Normally they go to bed by 9:15 but it was 9:30 and I hadn’t [...]
